Nursing Education and Professional Development at BRMC supports the nursing

Certifications
BRMC places a high priority on clinical learning and growth. This priority
is evidenced by our Journey to Excellence. Each nursing unit provides
opportunities for ongoing growth and professional development.
Student Loan Repayment
This program provides eligible employees to use an allotted amount of funds
for repayment of a portion of their outstanding qualifying educational
loans. Employees must work in a full-time position (minimum of 60 hours
per pay period) during the term of the loan repayment period. Contact

Scholarships
BRMC offers additional educational assistance in the form of scholarships
to accredited ADN, BSN, and MSN programs. If BRMC chooses to hire you
or if you are already employed, you must work for BRMC for a minimum of
60 hours per pay period. For every $3,000 in scholarship money that is
received, you will commit 6 months to BRMC. Please contact Human Resources

RN Residency Program
The BRMC RN Residency Program, in partnership with
Versant, provides a comprehensive educational foundation to transition newly graduated
registered nurses from students to safe, competent professional practitioners.
The structure and standardization of the BRMC RN Residency includes an
evidence-based curriculum, guided clinical experience with a preceptor
for 18 weeks, a supportive component composed of formal mentoring and
debriefing/self-care sessions to positively impact both the competence
and confidence of the RN Resident.
