Community Health Education and Support Houses
North Central Arkansas Healthcare Education
Baxter Regional Medical Center is home to four unique Community Health
Education and Support Houses, often referred to as the Community Houses.
Supported by Baxter Regional Hospital Foundation funding, the majority
of programs and services offered are free of charge to patients, families
and community members.
Mruk Family Education Center on Aging hosts various programs of interest for the area’s senior citizens.

much more. The Center also provides exercise groups for both men and women.
Peitz Cancer Support House is the first line of support for cancer patients, their families and friends.
Numerous support groups, a resource library, wig and turban bank and smoking
cessation classes are just a few of the services provided.
Reppell Diabetes Learning Center provides the necessary tools to cope with this disease, including self-care
skills, social support, nutritional classes, medical and exercise information
and prevention of complications.
