Baxter Health offers procedures using the Mazor X Stealth™
Edition Robotic Guidance Platform for Spine Surgery. With precision and
accuracy, the Mazor X Stealth™ Edition Robotic Guidance System assists
our surgeons in the treatment of many spine conditions.
Our professionals leverage their knowledge and expertise to provide you with enhanced patient care every day. That’s why our operating rooms include surgical robotic guidance technology for spine procedures.
Surgical Robotics is not the future – it is very much here, and we
believe it will become the standard of care. We are transforming spine
surgery at Baxter Health.
The Mazor X Stealth™ Edition Robotic Guidance System provides a very
high level of predictability of planning, both pre-operative and intra-operative.
With features such as customizable implant selection, optimal implant
trajectories and 3D analytics, planning allows you to work towards construct
optimization and make the procedure predictable.
State of the art registration and mechanical stability are critical to
establish robotic precision. The Mazor X™ platform secures a closed-loop
connection between the bed-mounted robotic arm, the patient secured on
the bed, and a rigid fixation between the robot and patient’s skeletal
anatomy. The robot is table mounted for a small OR footprint.
Based on decades of experience, Stealth™ Navigation technology allows
for real-time visualization of the implant entering the anatomy relative
to the pre-operative plan. Execute the procedure intra-operatively by
combining two guidance technologies in a comprehensive platform that helps
you achieve your surgical goals with confidence. Navigation provides the
visibility that closes the loop on the execution of the plan.
Clinical evidence suggests that screw placement accuracy with the Mazor
X Stealth™ Edition Robotic Guidance System is between 99.5% and
100%, while simultaneously reducing time spent placing screws.
