Baxter Regional COVID-19 Vaccine Update #7

Arkansas opened Phase 1-C of the COVID-19 Vaccination Plan on Tuesday, March 16. Baxter Regional COVID-19 Vaccine Registration continues to be open online, but supply is limited! Eligible Arkansans may register at www.baxterregional.org/vaccine to receive a Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine BY APPOINTMENT ONLY on Wednesday, March 31 at the Baxter County Fairgrounds.

Those eligible include Arkansans aged 16 to 64 with health conditions that increase their risk for severe COVID-19; essential workers in energy, finance, food service, information technology and communications, legal, media, public health/human services, public safety, shelter and housing, transportation and logistics. Others eligible are people residing in high-risk settings includes those who are incarcerated or detained; living in group homes, congregate settings, or crowded housing; and student housing such as dormitories.

Arkansans in Phase 1-A and 1-B also remain eligible, including adults age 65 years and older and those who work in health care, education, police, fire, other first responders, corrections, food and agriculture, essential government, grocery store/meal delivery, postal/package delivery service, public transit, houses of worship, manufacturing as well as those with intellectual or developmental disabilities.
