ATTENTION: Members of United Healthcare Medicare Advantage Plans, AARP
Medicare Advantage from United Healthcare (HMO) or any United Healthcare
Medicare Advantage HMO Plan
Baxter Regional Medical Center is not in-network with United Healthcare
Medicare Advantage Plans or AARP Medicare Advantage from United Healthcare
(HMO) Plans. United Healthcare Medicare Advantage HMO out-of-network coverage
is zero for healthcare services received at Baxter Regional. As a patient,
these plans require you to be responsible for 100% of your Baxter Regional charges.
Baxter Regional cares about your financial health, and we want to give
you notice of this issue while there is still time to switch Medicare
Advantage plans. You may change your 2021 Medicare Advantage Plan coverage
from now through March 31, 2021. Please consult with an insurance agent
for more details regarding out-of-network benefit coverage and how to
switch to another plan that would be in-network with Baxter Regional.
Baxter Regional will continue to accept the AARP Medicare Supplemental
Plans insured by United Healthcare Insurance Company and United Healthcare
PPO Plans with out-of-network benefits. Baxter Regional is also in-network
with Allwell from Arkansas Health and Wellness, Arkansas Blue Cross Blue
Shield and Humana Medicare Advantage Plans.
Baxter Regional hopes to serve all of your healthcare needs. Anyone with
United Healthcare Medicare Advantage Plan or AARP Medicare Advantage from
United Healthcare (HMO) Plan should quickly move to an alternative plan
if they want to be in-network with Baxter Regional. If you decide to move
to a plan that is not in-network, please make sure that you select a plan
that has out-of-network benefits. If you have any questions about plans
that Baxter Regional is in-network with, please call 870-508-1078 to speak
to a member of our Patient Financial Services team.
To be effective this year, you must act before March 31, 2021!
