Baxter Regional CARE provides quick and convenient video access to affordable
urgent care 24/7, 365 via your computer, smartphone or tablet.
Baxter Regional Medical Center is proud to announce the release of a new
app for Arkansas and Missouri residents called
Baxter Regional CARE, which offers patients 24-hour video access to a medical professional
for urgent care needs. The app allows patients to connect with a healthcare
provider quickly via computer, smartphone or tablet. Providers can assess,
diagnose and treat the patient's condition as well as prescribe medication
(if it is needed). During the video visit, providers can evaluate common
conditions including flu, sore throat, urinary tract infection, bronchitis,
common cold, pink eye, seasonal allergies, cold sores, ear infection,
migraine headache, rashes, sinus infection, strains and sprains.
The app is free to download on the Apple App Store, Google Play Store
or by visiting
www.baxterregionalcare.com. Each visit is only $69 (half the price of most walk-in urgent care centers)
and is billed at that flat rate to the credit card of your choice just
prior to the visit. At this time, the Baxter Regional CARE's on-demand
urgent care service does not accept insurance, but the organization hopes
to explore that possibility in the future.
Once you have downloaded the app, you will have your choice of providers.
When available, local physicians and APRNs that are participating in providing
care via the telehealth app will always rise to the top when they are
online seeing patients. In addition to local providers, the app is staffed
with a team of board certified physicians, licensed to deliver quality
care when you need it most. This online care group allows the app to function
without delay, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
A year in the making, BRMC is proud to make Baxter Regional CARE a reality,”
said Ron Peterson, Baxter Regional Medical Center President / CEO. “Today,
we’re just very pleased and honored to be able to announce to the
community they can now have access, 24 hours a day, seven days a week,
365 days a year, to urgent care on their device through Baxter Regional
