The best babysitter is a Safe Sitter!
Safe Sitter® is a medically accurate program that teaches young adolescents how to
handle emergencies when caring for children. This class teaches safe and
nurturing child care techniques, behavior management skills, and appropriate
responses to medical emergencies.
Baxter Regional Medical Center is proud to again offer Safe Sitter classes
this summer at the Schliemann Center for Women's Health Education.
Two day sessions are available on the following dates:
• Wednesday, June 6 and Thursday, June 7
• Wednesday, July 11 and Thursday, July 12
• Wednesday, August 1 and Thursday, August 2
All sessions are from 9 a.m to 3 p.m. with lunch provided. Cost is $35
and includes Safe Sitter student manual, completion card and messenger
bag with supplies. Scholarships are available based on financial need.
Participants must be 11-13 years old by the class date. Completed
Safe Sitter Registration and Student Contract, BRMC Media Consent, and payment must be received one week prior to class day.
