Justin Woods, Major Gifts Officer, Baxter Regional Hospital Foundation,
has earned the designation of Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) by
CFRE International. The CFRE exam is designed for fundraising professionals to demonstrate
mastery of the six core knowledge areas related to fundraising practice:
current and prospective donor research, securing the gift, relationship
building, volunteer involvement, leadership and management, and ethics
and accountability.
To apply for the CFRE designation, one must have at least five years of
professional fundraising experience; meet minimum eligibility requirements
in education, practice, performance and service; and pass the written exam.
Justin is one of only 43 Certified Fund Raising Executives in Arkansas.
He joins fellow Baxter Regional Hospital Foundation staff member
Cindy Costa, CFRE, Director of Development, in earning the CFRE designation.
Justin has been on the Baxter Regional Hospital Foundation staff for almost
nine years. He has been in his current role as Major Gifts Officer since
February, 2015, after previously serving as Program Coordinator. A native
of the Twin Lakes area and an Arkansas State University-Mountain Home
graduate, Justin enjoys living in the area because of the close knit community.
He and his wife, Jessica, are the proud parents of two sons, Kolby and
Konner. They enjoy spending time with family, fishing and taking walks
by the White River with their dogs, Sam and Zola.
