Clinic to Provide Primary Care and Services to Local Residents
Baxter Regional Medical Center is expanding its care and partnerships
with local physicians under the name of Baxter Regional Health System,
this time in Melbourne, Arkansas, where the new Baxter Regional Health
System Complex was officially opened with a ribbon cutting and flag-raising
ceremony on Friday, June 16, 2017.
BRMC staff members gathered with Gray Family Practice Clinic staff and
others from the Melbourne community to watch Ina Ramsey, with the help
of Clark Fletcher, a member of the BRMC Board of Directors, cut the ribbon
in front of the new Baxter Regional Health System Complex in Melbourne.
After an inspiring invocation by local pastor Robert Ellis, Barney Larry,
BRMC Vice President of Business Development and Baxter Regional Hospital
Foundation Executive Director, gave thanks to the community for the generosity
that made the success of the new facility possible. Ron Peterson, BRMC
President and CEO, celebrated the event by presenting an award of $5,000
to Ozarka Collegeandrsquo;s nursing program as a show of commitment to
the community. Dr. Adam Gray, owner of
Gray Family Practice Clinic, PLLC, located in the new facility, said that he andldquo;couldn’t be
more proud” to have the clinic ready to serve Melbourne. First National
Banking Company provided a grilled lunch of burgers and hot dogs prior
to the flag-raising, which was conducted by retired US Military members
Sgt. Bob Johnson, Marion Conway, and former Chief Master-at-Arms Adrianna
Gumina, while James Miller sang the national anthem. After an official
ribbon cutting in front of the new facility, the clinic staff offered
tours and explanations of provided services.
