Oncologist
Stephen Lattanzi, MD, will be the featured guest speaker at the
Breast Cancer Evening Support Group meeting on Thursday, April 27, 5:30 p.m., at the
Peitz Cancer Support House.
Dr. Lattanzi will be presenting information on technologically advanced
procedures used in cancer diagnosis, including PET scan,
3-D mammography, navigational bronchoscopy and virtual colonoscopy. He will show interesting
results and images, as well as leave plenty of time for a question and
answer session. Anyone interested is welcome to attend.
The PCSH Breast Cancer Evening Support Group meets the second and fourth
Thursday of each month, offering women with breast cancer a chance to
share their experience with others who may be going through similar experiences.
Various topics of interest for breast cancer survivors are discussed,
from different types of breast cancer and treatments to reconstruction
and living beyond cancer.
