Mruk Family Education Center on Aging welcomes New Coordinator
Baxter Regional Medical Center congratulates E. Diahanne VanGulick on being
named the new coordinator of the
Mruk Family Education Center on Aging. Diahanne brings a wealth of experience in health education, preventative
health care and event planning to her new role. She has a special interest
in making sure people in our community know of all the available resources
to them, including emotional, spiritual, and physical support.
Her previous roles at BRMC include the Continuing Medical Education/Basic
Life Support Coordinator in the Education Department and most recently
as a Patient Registrar in Patient Financial Services. In between those
roles, Diahanne was in Kansas City, Missouri, and worked as an event assistant
and health educator at a company that provides health screenings and on-going
health education for corporations. She has been a certified American Heart
Association Basic Life Support and First Aid Instructor for over 20 years.
Diahanne is married to her high school sweetheart, Paul. They live in
Mountain Home as empty nesters and have two adult children, Emmilee and
Timothy. She leads a Christ-centered life and loves the Twin Lakes community.
She enjoys hiking and exploring the many nature trails in our area.
Since 2007, the
Mruk Family Education Center on Aging of BRMC has been dedicated to helping seniors in our community live a
longer and healthier life. The MFECOA provides educational programs, resources
and healthcare services to older adults and their families to help them
