The 22nd annual Susan G. Komen Arkansas Race for the Cure will be held
in Little Rock on Saturday, October 10, 2015. You are invited to join
the BRMC Peitz Cancer Support House Race for the Cure team! You donandrsquo;t
have to be a survivor to join our team – all ladies are welcome.
And all fitness levels can participate: you can join the 5K, walk the
1 mile fun walk, or just watch and cheer from the sidewalk.
The PCSH team will leave Friday, October 9 at 8:00 a.m. via charter bus
and return to Mountain Home on Saturday, October 10 around 5 p.m. The
trip is valued at $160 per person, but a reduced rate can be accepted
(minimum of $60 per person). The trip includes transportation, hotel (2
per room), race registration fee, pasta party ticket and PCSH team t-shirt.
You must ride the bus to take advantage of the trip rates.
Canandrsquo;t make the trip? Be a Spirit Runner! Cost is $35 and includes
Komen registration fee and team t-shirt.
The registration deadline is Friday, August 28. Registration forms are
available at the Peitz Cancer Support House, and space is limited. For

5K runs/fitness walks in the world, raises significant funds and awareness
for the fight against breast cancer, celebrates breast cancer survivorship
and honors those who have lost their battle with the disease. Susan G.
Komen supports local communities through grant programs. BRMC's Mobile
Mammography Unit is a past and current recipient of the Susan G. Komen
grant program and the 2015 recipient of the Hickingbotham Award for Service.
