Baxter Regional Medical Centerandrsquo;s Peitz Cancer Support House (PCSH)
is celebrating National Cancer Survivors Day Monday, June 2. The public
is invited to an Open House scheduled from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., and all
survivors will receive a free gift, while supplies last.
The 27th annual National Cancer Survivors Day, a worldwide celebration
of life, will be held in hundreds of communities throughout the United
States, Canada, and other participating countries. Cancer survivors, caregivers,
family members, friends and healthcare professionals will unite to show
that life after a cancer diagnosis can be meaningful and productive. Anyone
living with a history of cancer, from the moment of diagnosis throughout
the remainder of life, is a cancer survivor.
The PCSH is located on the BRMC campus on the corner of Hospital Drive
and Powers Street, across the parking lot from the Cline Emergency Center
entrance. For more information, call (870) 508-CARE (2273) or email Regina
Ellis, PCSH Coordinator, at
