March Tobacco Cessation Class Rescheduled to Begin March 10
Smoking harms nearly every organ of the body. The adverse health effects
from smoking account for nearly one of every five deaths each year in
the United States. If youand#39;re a smoker, now is the time to quit!
March Tobacco Cessation Class at Peitz Cancer Support House begin Monday,
March 10 at 6 p.m. The remaining sessions will be March 17 and March 19 at 6 p.m.
This is an excellent, FREE program for anyone wishing to stop using tobacco.
QuitSmart class is led by certified counselors and consists of 3 sessions
held over a two week time period. Each program participant will receive
a QuitSmart booklet, and artificial cigarette, and a relaxation CD. Two
weeks of nicotine replacement patches are also offered free of charge.
Registration is required, and you must attend all three sessions to complete
