Baxter Regional Medical Center welcomes four new members to the Baxter
Regional Hospital Foundation Board of Directors with the additions of
Adrienne Blackwell, Christopher Carter, Travis Doshier and Kathy Mills.
Adrienne Blackwell is a Mountain Home native and married to Marc Blackwell. They have two
daughters, Kelsey, 6, and Addison, 18 months. She is the daughter of Robin
Silvers and Danny Dust, and the granddaughter of Billie Supeter and the
late Bob Dust.
Adrienne is a graduate of Mountain Home High School and ASU-MH with a Bachelor
of Science degree in business management. She has been in the financial
industry for 11 years, and she current serves as the Regional Branch Manager
for the Southwest Market of FNBC.
She is a member of the Baxter Regional Hospital Foundation Annual Gifts
Committee. Adrienne also teaches 3-year-olds on Wednesday nights at East
Side Baptist Church and is a member of the Childrenandrsquo;s Committee.
She loves working with children and various organizations in order to
give back to the community.
Christopher Carter was born at Baxter Regional in 1986, and his parents are TC and Beth Carter.
He graduated from Mountain Home High School in 2004 and attended 2 years
at ASU-MH before earning a Graduate Gemologist degree from the Gemological
Institute of America.
In 2007, he married Nicole Chester, and they have a 2-year-old son, Gavin.
Chris has worked at Carterand#39;s Jewel Chest for 10 years, for the past
3 years as a co-owner. Christopher is an active member of the Rotary Club
of Mountain Home and Arkansas Community Foundation's Twin Lakes Future
Fund. He looks forward to serving our community through the Baxter Regional
Travis Doshier is the owner of Doshier and Associates, a tax preparation, bookkeeping
and payroll service provider in Yellville, where he resides with his wife, Shasta.
His family moved to Yellville from Little Rock when he was six years old
, and he is a 1989 graduate of Yellville-Summit High School. In 1993,
Travis graduated form Arkansas Tech University in Russellville with a
Bachelorandrsquo;s Degree in hotel and restaurant management.
Twenty years after leaving Yellville, he returned with his family to work
with his father, David Doshier, at his accounting office. Travis is a
member of the Yellville United Methodist Church, has volunteered as a
coach for his childrenand#39;s summer softball teams, and is currently
Chairman of Marion County Community Services, Inc.
Travis and Shasta have four daughters, Kaylea, 16, Adrianna, 12, Kiara,
10, and Callista, 2.
Kathy Mills currently serves as the Baxter Regional Medical Center Auxiliary president.
The input of Kathy and her fellow volunteers is invaluable to the Baxter
Regional Hospital Foundation, and her willingness to serve on the Board
of Directors is greatly appreciated.
