Testing & Results
At BRMC, we firmly believe that lab tests should be performed only when
required in order to avoid unnecessarily straining the patient. Test should
only be conducted to diagnose a patient, deter an illness, or assist treatment.
You should always expect your doctor to confer with you and deliberate
about possible treatment options in depth. We involve our patients as
much as we can when determining treatment options because we know that
it is your life to live, not ours.
Once the testing is finished, you should expect results to be completed
within a week to 10 days. We will contact you if more time is needed for
the results to conclude. In order to make sure the entire process goes
as planned, please remember to leave your address, phone number, and insurance
information at our front desk.
Our doctors want you to have the medicine you need when you need it. In
order to achieve that goal, please remember to have your medicine containers
with you when you visit us each time. If you want to get regular refills,
please call your primary pharmacy with any specific requests and they
will relay them to us. Make sure you allow for at least a full day for
our doctors to accept the refill request. Some medicine will not be unavailable
for refills without an appointment at our office and we will neither fill
nor prescribe medicine after office hours.
For the convenience of our patients, we accept MasterCard and Visa. We
will also be glad to submit any insurance forms you may have, provided
that you have given accurate and current information. Please make sure
bring co-payments, as they are due at the time of your office visit. As
insurance companies do not cover or fully pay for certain services, please
keep in mind that you will be responsible for those charges. If special
circumstances regarding your finances arise, do not hesitate to contact
our office manager at (870) 508-7072 to arrange a viable payment plan.
