With almost three decades of experience in home healthcare, we embody the
stability and professionalism you and your family deserve. Baxter Regional
Home Health is a nonprofit organization that has been offering quality
home health care services to residents of Baxter and Marion counties since
1979. We continually strive to improve our services in relation to our
patients’ needs. Working under your physician’s plan of care,
our medical staff provides the medical services necessary for your recovery
and your family’s peace of mind. Through advanced technology, we
are able to provide the most efficient healthcare while keeping the patient’s
needs a top priority.
It’s important that your home healthcare provider be a reliable and
stable member of the medical community. Our nurses and aides work with
your doctor to provide medical services. Their assessment, skilled treatment
and support provide the high-quality care you will need to recover at
home. A registered nurse is available 24 hours a day for admissions, urgent
situations and questions. As a functioning department within Baxter Regional
Medical Center, your transition to home healthcare will be seamless, and
we will be able to assist you with medical needs in a timely and efficient
manner. Our home healthcare provides you and your family with the medical
care, attention, and respect you deserve.
Baxter Regional Home Health is state-licensed and certified for Medicare
and Medicaid Services.
What is Home Health care?
Home healthcare is part-time professional healthcare for patients of all
ages, under physician direction, provided to the patient in the home setting.
Many patients benefit from being in their own homes surrounded by friends
and loved ones during their recovery process.
Essential components of home healthcare include teaching the patient self-care,
securing necessary equipment and medical supplies, instructing the family
in the physical care of the patient and helping family members cope with
the challenges that result from the patient’s illness.
Home healthcare is recognized as a less expensive and increasingly important
alternative to hospitalization or care in a nursing home. Home healthcare
is a more effective way to provide health services in a comfortable home
environment to patients who do not need 24-hour professional supervision.
