IQHealth is a partnership between BRMC Clinics and Cerner Health; the secure,
comprehensive electronic health record is available to doctors and clinicians
across all BRMC locations. IQHealth is a personal view of your health
record that allows you to communicate with your physician’s office,
request, reschedule, or cancel appointments, refill medications, and view
your medical record and many lab results that are performed and read in
your physicians’ office in a secure, efficient, and easy-to-use manner.
Can I view results of tests done at the main hospital?
IQHealth is a clinic-based patient portal. This means that if you are a
patient at one of the participating BRMC clinics, you can access your
clinic health record. Some tests that are performed and/or read through
BRMC will not be visible for you to review.
How do I sign up?
Signing up is easy! Simply let your BRMC clinic physician’s office
know that you are interested and give them your e-mail address. They will
enter your information into the IQHealth system, and you will receive
an invite through your personal e-mail. It will supply you with instructions
on how to log in and provide you with a password so that you can get started.
What if I don’t have an e-mail account?
Do you have a trusted family member or caregiver that you have listed on
your HIPPA form? Does this person have an e-mail account? If so, you can
provide us with their e-mail information and we can set it up for them
to access your account on your behalf. Your privacy and health information
security is very important to us, so please make sure that your HIPPA
information is updated in order for this feature to work.
Can I view my children’s health record?
If your children are under the age of 18 and/or you are their legal guardian,
yes, you will have the ability to be linked to their account. This is
a great way to stay connected to our family’s health.
Please be advised that IQHealth is separate from MyBRMC, as they are two
different patient portals. While both portals will allow patients to view
lab results, history, allergies, and health history, IQHealth includes
the ability to communicate with clinic staff and request clinic appointments,
while MyBRMC includes hospital discharge instructions and appointments
for scheduled procedures. Patients may sign up at BRMC admissions to participate
in MyBRMC, not at BRMC clinics. Patients may use the same Cerner Health
Account (username/password) for both portals. For more information about
IQHealth, call your clinic or ask at your next appointment.
