The 40th annual Health Fair & Expo presented by Baxter Regional Medical Center, KTLO, Classic Hits & The Boot is Wednesday, April 24, 7:30 a.m. – 7 p.m., at the Baxter County Fairgrounds in Mountain Home. Free blood sugar, cholesterol, PSA and HbA1c tests* will be offered (until 1 p.m. only), as well as a variety of screenings, health information, demonstrations, give-a-ways and exhibits. The event is open to the public and free to attend.

*A 12 hour fast is recommended for most accurate results for blood draw participants. Health screenings are not substitutes for regular exams by your physician.

Calling all families! New to the Health Fair this year, a Teddy Bear Clinic will be available for children to help nurses heal and/or adopt a teddy bear. Open from 3 to 7 p.m., the Teddy Bear Clinic is an interactive way to help children become comfortable with basic check-up procedures, equipment, and care providers themselves.
