BRMC's 3D Mobile Mammography Stops in Washington, D.C.

Yesterday, Arkansasand#39; Baxter Regional Medical Center's mobile mammography bus made a stop in Washington, D.C., to showcase Hologic's ground breaking 3D mammography technology to congressmen, staffers and cancer advocacy groups at the U.S. Capitol.

Our local Washington, D.C., CBS affiliate (WUSA) covered the educational event and is happy to share footage with your station if you are interested. To see some of the footage WUSA-9 took, see their coverage here: 3-D Mammo-Van Rolls Into Capitol Hill.

The mobile mammography bus is en route to NYC where they will join the Hologic team to kick off Breast Cancer Awareness Month by ringing the Nasdaq bell.

The Baxter Bulletin recently ran a story about the bus titled, Road trip for lifesaver. In addition, Barney Larry can provide more information about Baxter Regional Medical Center and their mobile mammography bus.
