Sarah Edwards to Succeed Barney Larry as Baxter Health Foundation Executive Director

Baxter Health is pleased to announce that Sarah Edwards has accepted the position of Executive Director of the Baxter Health Foundation, effective January 2, 2023.

“I am very excited that Sarah Edwards has been selected for this position,” noted retiring Foundation Executive Director, Barney Larry. “I have had the opportunity to team with Sarah on many projects. Her commitment to the organization and passion to support the community is outstanding. I am confident she will lead the Foundation to new heights. We are truly blessed to have Sarah share her wonderful leadership skills with our community.”

“I am honored to take on this role within Baxter Health Foundation,” said Edwards. “I’ve had the privilege to work and be mentored by Barney for many years, and we will continue the good work that he started. We have an incredible team in the Foundation and a generous community that I look forward to continuing to work with.”

In 2015, Sarah joined the Baxter Health team in the role of Physician Recruiter. After 3 years in this role, she was promoted to Director of Business Development, and from there moved into the role of Major Gifts Officer of the Baxter Health Foundation and then Vice President/Major Gifts Officer of the Foundation just last year.

“I am thrilled that Sarah has chosen to take on the Executive Director role in the Foundation and look forward to continuing the tradition of the Baxter Health Foundation being such an integrated and vital part of our organization,” said Ron Peterson, President and CEO of Baxter Health.

Mountain Home High School graduates and parents of 2 children, Sarah and her husband Dylan love being involved in the community and enjoy the plentiful outdoor activities that Mountain Home has to offer. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a Master of Science in Operations Management from the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville.
