Baxter Regional Hospital Foundation
held a press conference Wednesday, June 28, to announce a new one million
dollar capital campaign to remodel the
BRMC Acute Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit. Barney Larry, BRMC VP/Business Development and Baxter Regional Hospital
Foundation Executive Director, started the event by explaining what the
remodel would mean to the hospital and its patients. Next, Jeff Quick,
a former rehab patient, spoke about how the encouragement he received
during treatment at BRMC gave him the hope he needed to get back on his
feet. Finally, in an exciting unveiling ceremony, the
BRMC Auxiliary
presented Baxter Regional Hospital Foundation with a generous donation
of $500,000 for the remodel campaign. Unit Medical Director, and Ron Peterson,
BRMC President & CEO.
For over 20 years, the BRMC Acute Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit has helped
patients recovering from an injury or illness build strength, increase
flexibility, improve mobility, and ultimately gain independence. As the
only inpatient rehabilitation facility serving northern Arkansas and southern
Missouri, the unit is committed to providing the safest and most comprehensive
environment for physical healing.
Baxter Regional Hospital Foundation hopes others will partner to continue
this tradition by donating to the BRMC Acute Inpatient Rehabilitation
Unit Capital Campaign. Listed below are several giving levels that would
allow people to “adopt-a-room” as a gift from themselves or
in honor of a loved one or friend, but a gift of any size is appreciated!
All levels may be pledged over a 5 year period.
