BRMC Auxiliary donates $500,000 to Acute Inpatient Rehabilitation Capital Campaign
Baxter Regional Hospital Foundation held a press conference Wednesday, June 28, to announce a new one million dollar capital campaign to remodel the BRMC Acute Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit. Barney Larry, BRMC VP/Business Development and Baxter Regional Hospital Foundation Executive Director, started the event by explaining what the remodel would mean to the hospital and its patients. Next, Jeff Quick, a former rehab patient, spoke about how the encouragement he received during treatment at BRMC gave him the hope he needed to get back on his feet. Finally, in an exciting unveiling ceremony, the BRMC Auxiliary presented Baxter Regional Hospital Foundation with a generous donation of $500,000 for the remodel campaign. For over 20 years, the BRMC Acute Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit has helped patients recovering from an injury or illness build strength, increase flexibility, improve mobility, and ultimately gain independence. As the only inpatient rehabilitation facility serving northern Arkansas and southern Missouri, the unit is committed to providing the safest and most comprehensive environment for physical healing.

Baxter Regional Hospital Foundation hopes others will partner to continue this tradition by donating to the BRMC Acute Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit Capital Campaign. Listed below are several giving levels that would allow people to “adopt-a-room” as a gift from themselves or in honor of a loved one or friend, but a gift of any size is appreciated! All levels may be pledged over a 5 year period.
