The best babysitter is a Safe Sitter!
Safe Sitter® is a medically accurate program that teaches young adolescents how to
handle emergencies when caring for children. This class teaches safe and
nurturing child care techniques, behavior management skills, and appropriate
responses to medical emergencies.
BRMC is proud to offer Safe Sitter classes this summer at the Schliemann
Center for Women's Health Education. Two day sessions are available
on the following dates:
All sessions are from 9 a.m to 3 p.m. with lunch provided. Cost is $35
and includes Safe Sitterandreg; student manual, completion card and messenger
bag with supplies. Scholarships are available based on financial need.
Participants must be 11-13 years old by the class date. Completed registration,
Student Contract, Media Consent and payment must be received one week
prior to class day. Forms may be downloaded and returned to the SCWHE,
or click on the linked dates above to download forms and register online.
Hurry! Class size is limited, and sessions fill up quickly.
