BRMC Celebrates National Nurse Practitioner Week

woman holding an awardBaxter Regional Medical Center is proud to celebrate our team of Nurse Practitioners during National Nurse Practitioner Week, November 13 - 19, 2016. Over 50 years ago, the first national nurse practitioner program was established, and today there are more than 220,000 nurse practitioners licensed to practice in the United States. We are proud of the many nurse practitioners serving in our hospital and clinics, and we are so thankful for their dedication to providing excellent care for every patient, every time.

In celebration of National Nurse Practitioner Week, BRMC hosted a luncheon on Tuesday, November 15 for the nurse practitioners serving in our community. Corinne Hiser, MSN, APRN, CNP, was named Nurse Practitioner of the Year after being nominated by her peers.

BRMC is proud to honor Corinne Hiser as our Nurse Practitioner of the Year! Corinne is well known in our community for her infectious smile and faith, her passion for healthcare and the love for her family, patients and coworkers. She has been an APRN since 1998 and has practiced in her current role at Regional Family Medicine in Mountain Home since 2005. She currently serves on and is a charter member of the BRMC Women's Health Advisory Board of the Schliemann Center for Women's Health Education.
