Now Accepting Vendors for Lend-A-Hand Autumn Taste, Tour & Craft Festival

On Friday, October 16 and Saturday, October 17, Baxter Regional Hospital Foundation is hosting the Lend-A-Hand Autumn Taste, Tour and Craft Festival. The taste and tour part of the event will be a progressive dinner on Saturday, October 17 at the four Community Support and Health Education Houses - the Mruk Family Education Center on Aging, Peitz Cancer Support House, Reppell Diabetes Learning Center and Schliemann Center for Women's Health Education. The craft festival will be held both days from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on the Baxter Regional Medical Center campus, in the parking lot across Hospital Drive from BRMC, between the hospital and the row of Community Support and Health Education Houses.
Vendors are needed! All artisans and those who make handmade crafts are invited to participate. Because this is the first (of many we hope) Lend-A-Hand Autumn Taste, Tour and Craft Festival, a 10 x 10 space is only $75 this initial year. This is an outdoor event, and a 10 x 10 tent is required (with sides preferred) to participate.
A large crowd is anticipated for this event. There will be extensive advertising (print, radio and social media), plus, because it will be held in one of the big parking lots at the hospital, there is easy access for our over 800 employees who will be working those days, as well as outpatients, visitors and the employees and patients from the other medical businesses nearby. And the timing is great to get an early start on Christmas shopping! The KTLO Treasure Chest will be there Friday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The event is free to attend.
