The Integrity First Bank Board of Directors, Peitz Cancer Support House
Advisory Board, Baxter Regional Hospital Foundation Executive Committee,
Baxter Regional Medical Center Hospital Board and BRMC Senior Leadership
Team recently hosted a reception at the Peitz Cancer Support House honoring
Danny Williams, retiring president of Integrity First Bank, and his wife
Barbara, a cancer survivor and retiring Peitz Cancer Support House Advisory
Board Member. Integrity First Bank made a generous $10,000 donation to
the Peitz Cancer Support House in honor of the Danny and Barbara Williams.
Danny attended Delta State University on an athletic scholarship and graduated
in 1967. Danny is also a 1984 graduate of the Graduate School of Banking
of the South at Louisiana State University. Danny began his banking career
in Mississippi with Deposit Guaranty National Bank in 1970. His banking
journey has taken him to Louisiana with American Bank and Trust Company;
Texarkana, Texas, with Twin City Bank; Hot Springs, Arkansas, with One
National Bank; Citizens Bank of Jonesboro, Arkansas; River Valley Bank
and Trust of Lavaca, Arkansas; and The Union Bank of Mena, Arkansas.
In 2012, he joined First National Bank & Trust, now Integrity First
Bank, of Mountain Home.
Barbara has fought the battle of cancer not once, but twice. At 22 she
was diagnosed with cancer, placed in a trial study and, fortunately, survived.
Thirty years later, she beat cancer again by surviving breast cancer.
Because of this cancer history, she dedicated herself to cancer related
causes. Barbara has served on the Peitz Cancer Support House Advisory
Board, been a volunteer for CARTI and a member of P.E.O., a philanthropic
organization that provides scholarships and educational opportunities
for women.
This past Spring, Danny and Barbara celebrated 50 years of marriage. Danny
and Barbara have two sons, Carey Williams of Fayetteville and Patrick
Williams of Mountain Home. They are also the proud grandparents of three
grandchildren.
