Today is ArkansasGives Day!
Today is
ArkansasGives Day, and Arkansans are challenged to give to their favorite charities from
8 a.m. to 8 p.m., with each donation helping participating nonprofit organizations
qualify for additional bonus dollars from the
Arkansas Community Foundation. All participating nonprofits will receive a portion of a $250,000 bonus
pool; the more a nonprofit raises, the more bonus dollars it will receive!
Baxter Regional Hospital Foundation is proud to be one of the 15 charities from the Twin Lakes Area signed
up to participate. For a non-profit hospital like Baxter Regional Medical
Center, our Foundation is critical. The same way a concrete foundation
physically holds up a house, Baxter Regional Hospital Foundation financially
holds up BRMC by raising money and community awareness.
The focus of Baxter Regional Hospital Foundation is to provide resources
for BRMC for equipment, programs and services that otherwise would not
be possible. Baxter Regional Hospital Foundationandrsquo;s mission statement
is “raising money to keep our community healthy,” as it provides
resources for BRMC equipment, programs and services that otherwise would
not be possible, including those at the four community health education
and support "houses" -
Mruk Family Education Center on Aging,
Peitz Cancer Support House,
Reppell Diabetes Learning Center and
Schliemann Center for Womenand#39;s Health Education. Most of the programs and services offered are free of charge to patients
and community members thanks the Foundationand#39;s support.
Please consider making a donation to Baxter Regional Hospital Foundation through

ArkansasGives is a project of Arkansas Community Foundation, a nonprofit
organization promoting smart giving to improve communities. The Community
Foundation offers tools to help Arkansans protect, grow and direct their
charitable dollars as they learn more about community needs. By making
grants and sharing knowledge, the Community Foundation supports charitable
programs that work for Arkansas and partners to create new initiatives
that address the gaps. Since 1976, the Community Foundation has provided
more than $120 million in grants and partnered with thousands of Arkansans
to help them improve our neighborhoods, our towns and our entire state.
