Kerr Scholarship applications now available
Baxter Regional Medical Center is pleased to again offer the Dr. Robert
L. Kerr Medical Student Scholarship, established to assist medical students
from the BRMC service area with tuition expenses. The goal of this scholarship
program is to encourage medical students to practice in the BRMC service
area after completion of their medical degree.
Scholarships are presented annually, and applications are available now
for the 2014-2015 academic year. Students accepted to an accredited medical
program leading to a degree of medical doctor or doctor of osteopathy
and demonstrating permanent residency in the Arkansas counties of Baxter,
Marion, Fulton, Izard, Sharp, Stone and Searcy, and Ozark County in Missouri may

Applications are due June 15, with scholarships awarded August 1. Funding
is provided by the
Baxter Regional Hospital Foundation.
