"Hangin' Out in the Hangar" is April 26
The Mruk Family Education Center on Aging is hangin' out in the hangar!
Join us for the first ever Mruk Family Education Center on Aging (MFECOA)
fundraising event on Saturday, April 26 beginning at 5 p.m. at Ozark Regional
Airport in Midway. "Hangin' Out in the Hangar" will feature
silent auction items, plus great food, drinks and live music. Tickets
are $50 per couple. The dress is casual, and the event is for fun, relaxation
and fundraising. Dancing is always encouraged!
The MFECOA is the educational component of the Baxter Regional Center
on Aging, a collaborative effort of Baxter Regional Medical Center and
the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences Arkansas Aging Initiative,
a program of the Donald W. Reynolds Institute on Aging. The MFECOA hosts
free programs and support groups for the senior citizens of the BRMC service
area and provides continuing education resources for nurses, pharmacists,
social workers and physicians. Like the other BRMC community health education
and support houses, the MFECOA relies on the generosity of Baxter Regional
Hospital Foundation donors to continue offering these programs and services
free of charge.
We hope to see you on Saturday, April 26 wearing your dancing shoes! For
tickets or more information, call the MFECOA (870) 508-3880 or email Debbie
Love, MFECOA Coordinator, at dlove@baxterregional.org.
