Baxter Regional Medical Center supports the efforts of the Mountain Home
Christian Clinic by providing medical equipment, medications, and financial
assistance. Each year since its inception, BRMC employees via the Employee
Fund Drive have donated $20,000 to the Mountain Home Christian Clinic.
That $20,000 is actually $400,000 worth of services due to the Christian
Clinicandrsquo;s ability to turn each dollar donated into $20 worth of services.
Since 1999, countless Mountain Home Christian Clinic volunteers have helped
to provide healthcare and spiritual support to those in our community
who for various reasons cannot afford or are not being served by the established
healthcare system. In 2013, a team of 230 volunteers including physicians,
dentists, nurse practitioners, nurses, therapists, pharmacists, social
workers, ministers, and lay people treated 2,673 Christian Clinic patients.
In 2013, the total value of services provided to patients free of charge
was $3.5 million.
The 2014 BRMC Employee Fund Drive recently concluded, with 1,003 employees
pledging $102,949 total. The Mountain Home Christian Clinic is one of
nine programs that will benefit from the 2014 EFD. For more information
