Mruk Family Education Center on Aging is "Hangin' Out in the Hangar"
The Mruk Family Education Center on Aging (MFECOA) is hosting "Hangin'
Out in the Hangar," a fundraising event benefiting programs and services
offered free to charge to the senior population it serves. The event is
planned for Saturday, April 26 beginning at 5 p.m. at Ozark Regional Airport
in Midway.
The MFECOA is the educational component of the Baxter Regional Center
on Aging, a collaborative effort of Baxter Regional Medical Center and
the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences Arkansas Aging Initiative,
a program of the Donald W. Reynolds Institute on Aging. The MFECOA hosts
free programs and support groups for the senior citizens of the BRMC service
area and provides free continuing education resources for nurses, pharmacists,
social workers and physicians.
"Hangin' Out in the Hangar" will feature silent auction
items, plus great food, drinks and live music. Tickets are $50 per couple.
