Girls' Night Out: Heart to Heart Rescheduled for February 13
andldquo;Girls' Night Out: Heart to Heart" featuring cardiovascular surgeon Dr. Louis Elkins has been rescheduled
from its original date of Thursday, February 6 due to impending inclement
weather. It will now be held Thursday, February 13 from 6 to 8 p.m. in
the BRMC Lagerborg Dining Room.
February is American Heart Month, and heart disease is the number one killer
of women, taking the life of 1 in 3 women each year and killing more than
all forms of cancer combined. This means weandrsquo;re losing women at
the rate of one per minute. These deaths are preventable, and you can
help by raising awareness of heart disease and knowing its risk factors
and symptoms. Join us to learn more!
The event is free, and dinner will be provided. Space is limited, and reservations
are required. Contact Whitney Aleshire-Embrey, Schliemann Center for Womenandrsquo;s
Health Education Coordinator, at (870) 508-2345 or
waleshire@baxterregional.org today to reserve your spot!
