Perry Wilbur, MD, FAAP, was among those honored by
Arkansas Childrenand#39;s Hospital (ACH) on Thursday, April 17 at the
Ruth Olive Beall and Betty A. Lowe, MD, Awards, held at Chenal Country Club in Little Rock. The annual recognition ceremony
honors community leaders and physicians who have advanced pediatric health
care in Arkansas, and Dr. Wilbur was recognized as the Dr. Tom Ed Townsend
Award recipient. The prestigious Townsend Award honors an Arkansas community
physician who has provided excellence in healthcare in their clinical
practice and been a consistent supporter of ACH.
A Mountain Home native,
Dr. Perry Wilbur is a Hendrix College graduate, earning his medical degree from the University
of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock and completed a pediatrics
residency at ACH. Certified by the American Board of Pediatrics, Dr. Wilbur
has been in private practice in Mountain Home and a member of the Baxter
Regional Medical Center medical staff since 1993.
