BRMC to Host Health Insurance Enrollment Event Thursday, Dec. 5
Baxter Regional Medical Center, in partnership with the Arkansas Health
Connector, will host a Health Insurance Enrollment Fair on Thursday, December
5 from noon until 6:00 p.m. The event will be held in the Ortman Room
of the BRMC Cafeteria. The event is free and open to the public.
Those attending the event can learn about their health coverage options
and meet with licensed guides. Attendees can complete applications and
get information about how much assistance they may qualify for to assist
with insurance premiums.
To be eligible to enroll, a person must be between the ages of 18 and
64, live in the U.S., and must be a U.S. citizen or lawfully present.
Anyone who plans to enroll should be prepared with:
- Birthdate and Social Security Numbers (or document numbers for legal immigrants)
for each member of household
- Employer and income information for every member of the household (for
example, pay stubs, W-2 forms, wage and tax statements)
- Policy numbers for any current health insurance plans covering members
of the household
- A completed Employer Coverage Tool for every job-based plan anyone in the
household is eligible for

The Arkansas Health Connector (AHC), a Division of the Arkansas Insurance
Department, was established to manage and implement the new Health Insurance
Marketplace in Arkansas in accordance with the Patient Protection and
Affordable Care Act (PPACA) of 2010.
