BRMC welcomed ten new RN graduates to the BRMC family and to our new RN

Morrone, and Jennifer Pepin, 3 West; Kari Sanderfer, 4 South; Kristy Gibson
and Melanie Jenkins, 5 South; Nicole York, Women and Newborn Care Center,

BRMC has partnered with Versant to provide a comprehensive educational
foundation that will transition newly graduated registered nurses from
students to safe, competent professional practitioners. The structure
and standardization of the BRMC RN Residency Program will include evidence-based
content with clinical immersion to positively impact both the competence
and confidence of the RN Resident, according to BRMC RN Residency Coordinator
Wynne Woodard, MSN, APN, ACNS-BC, NE. BRMC staff and leadership are dedicated
to forming a supportive network to ensure the long term success and satisfaction
of both our new and experienced nursing staff. Roles in the residency
for experienced staff include preceptors, mentors, debriefers and subject-matter experts.
The residents will begin classes on Thursday, August 22 and will be in
the residency through December 19, 2013. Join us in congratulating each
of them as they embark on their journey!
