Arkansas State Board of Nursing Centennial Celebration Reception Scheduled at BRMC
The Arkansas State Board of Nursing (ASBN) will hold a Centennial Celebration
Reception on Tuesday, April 30, 2013, in the Baxter Regional Medical Center
Lagerborg Dining Room. A presentation ceremony begins at 5 p.m. with a
reception to follow.
2013 marks the 100th Anniversary of the ASBN. For the past 100 years,
the ASBN has worked hard to accomplish its mission of public protection
and wants you to help them celebrate! The ASBN invites nurses, nursing
students and area residents to meet ASBN Board and Staff Members, register
for door prizes and to view nursing and nursing education exhibits. Event
is free to the public.
About the Arkansas State Board of Nursing
The Arkansas State Board of Nursing, comprised of 13 Arkansas residents
appointed by the Governor, was established by the Arkansas Legislature
in 1913 to safeguard the life and health of its citizens, and achieves
its mission by developing standards for safe nursing care, approval of
nursing schools and regulating licenses to practice nursing.
