The practice of anesthesiology and pain control at Baxter Regional Medical Center does not begin or end only in the operating room. It is present all over the hospital, every day. To learn more about our treatment options administered by our team of board certified anesthesiologists, call (870) 508-1839.
The board certified anesthesiologists at BRMC are there for you long before and after your operating room experience is complete. They remain in immediate attendance for any postoperative medical problems that may arise, as well as taking care of pain management issues during your recovery phase. Management of postoperative pain often involves sophisticated techniques that extend well into the second or third postoperative day for major surgical procedures.
Baxter Regional Pain Management Services also offers a myriad of outpatient procedures for chronic and acute vertebral disc disease, sciatica, neuralgia shingles and other pain related issues. In addition, early and sometimes lifesaving interventional pain relieving procedures are performed for trauma patients to speed their recovery by avoiding the deleterious effects of stress and incapacitating amounts of pain medication. Baxter Regional is proud to partner with Dr. Ira Chatman and Dr. Ryan Krafft of Interventional Pain Management, a department of Baxter Regional – North Central Arkansas’ only fully comprehensive pain management clinic, with locations in Mountain Home and Harrison.
