Simulation Center & Laboratory Capital Campaign
Patient safety is our top priority
Baxter Regional Medical Center needs your support to build a Simulation
Center and Laboratory to provide safe, highly impactful continuing education
to our physicians, nurses and other clinical staff. They will have access
to the next generation of healthcare training in a detailed, simulated
environment using advanced medical manikins. Through simulation training,
Baxter Regional clinicians will go from being competent practitioners
to masters of clinical care.
The BRMC Simulation Center and Laboratory, also known as the Sim Lab, will
house manikins able to closely simulate many patient conditions such as
emergency care, cardiac function, advanced airway training and childbirth
complications. We are excited about introducing medical simulation training
to our clinical staff, but we need your help to make it happen!
How our community can help
Baxter Regional Hospital Foundation is committed to raising $300,000 to
support this center. Gifts to the Simulation Center & Laboratory Capital
Campaign may be structured many ways, including pledges made over multiple
years. There is also a naming opportunity available, so please let the
Foundation staff know if you have an interest in connecting your legacy
to the Sim Lab.
Practice makes perfect, and at Baxter Regional, we want clinicians that
care for our patients perfectly! Please consider an investment in your community hospital by supporting
our Simulation Center & Laboratory Capital Campaign, and help our
healthcare professionals become masters of clinical care.
