About Candice

Candice Dunbar, PT, DPT, CSCS, is a Physical Therapist serving at the Baxter Regional Physical Therapy Clinic at Hardy. Working together with referring physicians and other medical providers, the dedicated team of professionals led by Candice can help minimize pain, reduce the risk of falls, and facilitate improvements in strength and flexibility that allow patients to return to sport or simply live life independently. This team doesn't just provide pain relief and therapy after injury, they provide wellness, education, and exercise as preventative care to help you live your best life.

Candice graduated from Arkansas State University in Jonesboro in 2008 with a bachelor’s degree in exercise science and in 2012 with a doctorate in physical therapy. In 2017, she obtained a post-graduate certificate as a certified strength and conditioning specialist, allowing her to work with high level athletes as well as provide a more precise exercise plan to her patients of all levels and ages. After graduation, Candice practiced in several underserved areas of Northeast Arkansas before moving overseas to provide physical therapy to U.S. military families in Japan and Italy. Candice and her husband, Patrick, also volunteered in Vietnam for six months between work assignments before moving back to her hometown of Hardy in 2019 to raise their son, Owen.
