Born and raised in a small community in central Indiana, Dr. Malachi McCurdy
served on multiple medical missions trips to Kenya, Honduras, Haiti, and
the Dominican Republic before graduating from Anderson University summa
cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in chemistry and biology. He attended
the Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis and completed
a general surgery residency at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, Texas.
An Ironman athlete, Dr. McCurdy enjoys triathlons, mountain climbing, hunting,
fishing and living an active lifestyle with his wife, Hannah, a physical
therapist at Baxter Regional.
