The Reppell Diabetes Learning Center and Mruk Family Education Center on Aging are hosting Instant Healthy, a free pressure cooking class, on Wednesday, June 5 in the Lagerborg Dining Room.

People are loving the latest electric pressure cooker craze! While you can easily cook the most basic items, like hard-boiled eggs, beans, grains and more, there’s more to learn. Whether you’ve been using a pressure cooker for years or would like to find out more about it, join us for a fun and informative workshop featuring special guest Olivia Bennett-Bear, Chef and Culinary Instructor at Ozarka College in Melbourne.

Join us to learn more about using an electric pressure cooker to create simple and healthy dishes. We'll be cooking healthy in an instant, and you might win a free pressure cooker!

There are 2 free sessions of this class. The first one is open to the public and from 10 a.m. to noon. This evening class is open to BRMC employees and volunteers ONLY and will be from 5 to 7 p.m.
