The Reppell Diabetes Learning Center and Mruk Family Education Center on Aging are hosting Instant Healthy, a free pressure cooking class, on Wednesday, June 5, from 10 a.m. to noon in the Lagerborg Dining Room.

People are loving the latest electric pressure cooker craze! While you can easily cook the most basic items, like hard-boiled eggs, beans, grains and more, there’s more to learn. Whether you’ve been using a pressure cooker for years or would like to find out more about it, join us for a fun and informative workshop featuring special guest Olivia Bennett-Bear, Chef and Culinary Instructor at Ozarka College in Melbourne.

Join us to learn more about using an electric pressure cooker to create simple and healthy dishes. We'll be cooking healthy in an instant, and you might win a free pressure cooker!

This free session is open to the public. A second class is open to BRMC employees and volunteers ONLY and will be from 5 to 7 p.m.
