Do you like to knit or crochet? How about sewing or needlework, or quilting?
Would you like to learn how?
If you answered yes to any of these questions, then you should join us
at Threads of Hope at 1 pm on Wednesday afternoons.
This group offers lots of encouragement and support to one another as they
spend time at their weekly meetings, and you just might learn a new stitch.
Anyone with an interest in any type of needlework is welcome to attend.
Threads of Hope provides different things to different people. For cancer
survivors you can learn a craft to help pass the time between or after
treatments. For some it provides a way to give support to others, even
if you're not a cancer survivor yourself. The group may make lap robes,
prayers shawls, or caps that are distributed to those patients in treatment.
For others it provides a place to enjoy fun and companionship.
